IFIP, World Computer Congress 2010

The WCC-2010 History of Computing Conference will be held in Brisbane, Australia, on September 20-23, 2010. It is sponsored by the IFIP Working Group WG9.7, History of Computing. In addition, there will be special "pioneer experience" events held to celebrate the 50th anniversdary of IFIP, the International Federation for Information Processing. The Call for Papers has just gone out, and the Program Committee (of which I am a member) is looking for a broad range of topics. Information about the WCC may be found at their web site, wcc2010.org. I plan to post the Call for Papers on the IT History Society Blog in a day or two.
